Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you and zebrabeta, Inc. ("zebrabeta", "we", "us"). By accessing or using our platform, websites, APIs, SDKs, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

This is a sample document for a fictional company and does not constitute legal advice.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must:

• Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
• Maintain the confidentiality of API keys and access tokens.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach.
• Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Services to deploy agents that:

• Violate any applicable law or the rights of others.
• Generate or distribute malware, spam, or fraudulent content.
• Attempt to bypass our policy engine, rate limits, or security controls.
• Take consequential real-world actions without appropriate human oversight where required by law.
• Infringe intellectual property or misappropriate confidential information.

4. Autonomous agents

Our Services let you configure agents that act autonomously on your behalf. You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are responsible for the goals, tools, and permissions you grant your agents.
• Autonomous systems can produce unexpected results; you should configure guardrails and human-approval steps appropriate to your risk tolerance.
• You remain responsible for actions your agents take through connected integrations and third-party services.
• We provide observability and rollback tools, but cannot guarantee prevention of every undesired outcome.

5. Your data

You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Services ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell Customer Data. By default, we do not use your Customer Data to train foundation models.

6. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. In summary:

• We collect only what we need to operate the Services.
• You can request export or deletion of your data at any time.
• We support data residency options for Enterprise customers.
• We honor applicable rights under GDPR, CCPA, and similar frameworks.

7. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Customer Data, including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
• SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 controls.
• Role-based access control, SSO, and audit logging.
• Regular third-party penetration testing and a public bug bounty.

8. Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We will notify you before any material change to pricing affecting your plan. You are responsible for applicable taxes.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, zebrabeta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms with an updated effective date and, for material changes, provide notice through the Services. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
